T&H Lemont would like to remind everyone that Tuesday, November 8, is Election Day. Let’s get out and vote!
According to USAFacts.org, the mid-term voting rate dropped substantially for several decades. The voting rate in the mid-terms was more than 55 percent in the late 1970s. It fell to 38.5 percent by 2014, and then made a big comeback, to 49 percent, in 2018.
Still, this means that more than half the registered voters didn’t cast a ballot in 2018. How will the turnout be in 2022? It’s up to all of us to make our voices heard.
