T&H Lemont Participates In Tube Dusseldorf

T&H Lemont once again attended TUBE, the international tube expo, Düsseldorf, Germany.  This was the company’s third consecutive appearance at the show. 

The attendance at this show was somewhat less than in past years but the quality of the visitors was excellent. Meetings with customers and partners included those from the United States, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, China, Taiwan, India, Lebanon, Germany, Italy, and South Korea.

Discussions included coiled tubing lines for oilfield applications, linear cage forming for large-diameter pipe mills, stainless and titanium mills, structural mills, strip edge trimmers, and horizontal strip accumulators. Tooling discussions focused on 18- and 20-inch applications as well as strategies to make mark-free pipe and tube. Other strategies centered on producing high-strength pipe and tube and products with D/t ratios approaching 100/1.

Mills and related equipment with all of these capabilities and capacities are well within the realm of T&H Lemont’s engineering and manufacturing expertise.
