Manufacturing shaped tube? No problem. The engineering staff at T&H Lemont is ready to design a mill, tooling, or components, or all three, for any shape. One such component is this turkshead, a three-roll, two-plane unit designed to straighten triangular tubing.
This design allows the operator to adjust the front and rear faceplates independently for proper vertical and rotational alignment. It also allows cross-stream adjustments of the entry faceplate or the entire unit. Furthermore, quick-release hardware makes tooling changeovers fast and simple. Finally, it is outfitted with grease fittings for lubricating the bearings, yokes, and tooling. The grease fittings eliminate the need to disassemble the unit for routine lubrication or packing the bearings.
